1955 Thunderbird:

1955 Ford Thunderbird . Roman, Inc / U.S.A. 3 inches Blue with white porthole hardtop; Resin cast; Christmas ornament with wreath on both doors. Base says “Roman”, Headquartered in Bloomingdale, Illinois.item # 130949; part of a series of Ford cars. It is a Ford licensed product, item # 130949 [courtesy of Steve Legel. ][ed note: This is on the Holiday ornaments page along with last year's Hallmark ornament]
This model in 1/87 scale is also found inside a Snow Globe on a red base with a tree behind the model. Made by Roman, Inc. Globe plays Christmas music "Jingle Bell Rock" (Target is selling this snowglobe on their website). [reported by A. L.]

* Some cars are rather generic for 1955 & 1956 ie. have characteristics of both years. If you don't see your model listed in the '56 list it may be in the '55 list. Manufacturer of many of those models is also hard to determine so distributor's name may be listed which is why some models look the same but have different "manufacturers"
