1955 Thunderbird:

.no #, Pull Back Car / China 1/43 Description compared to the KinsFun t-bird from 2007 which this looks similar to. Found at a Flying Tiger store in N.Y. & described by Steve Legel: at least ¼ inch shorter and it is shorter in the length of the trunk, same up to rear edge of door and wheel area. Sold in Denmark.
Flying Tiger has all black interior and trim around windows is all black and not silver chrome.
Flying Tiger has dull silver not shiny chrome for bumpers and hub caps
Flying Tiger has black chevrons not silver
Flying Tiger has NO V8 emblem on front fender and NO crossed flags front hood or rear trunk
Flying Tiger has tiny battery compartment for working head and taillights
Flying Tiger only says made in China on bottom, no other markings,

1957 Ford Thunderbird Mattell/Matchbox / Thailand 1/63 Dark blue metallic, tan interior; chrome and black wheel; black tires; Gray bumpers and continental kit; In 5-pak "Open Road-sters"^TM. Also in 9-pak. [comments: despite the package name there are two hardtops in the 5-pak, police car & a red car; found by Steve.Legel

* Some cars are rather generic for 1955 & 1956 ie. have characteristics of both years. If you don't see your model listed in the '56 list it may be in the '55 list. Manufacturer of many of those models is also hard to determine so distributor's name may be listed which is why some models look the same but have different "manufacturers"
